On September 17, 2020, CASI held its launch event with an online webinar conducted over Zoom and livestreamed on Facebook Live. Speakers included Vida Samiian, Max Ajl and Charlotte Kates, who discussed various aspects of ongoing U.S. aggression against Iran and the importance of an anti-imperialist response. CASI is planning to follow up on the event with a second panel in the near future. Portions of this event will also be featured on an upcoming episode of “The East Is a Podcast.”
